Dear Comrades / Friends,
You are aware that Strike Notice has already been
served to the Department for a country wide indefinite strike from 6th
May 2015 and a revised charter has been furnished to the Secretary Posts on 08th
Apr’2015. The charter of demands has already been displayed in the web site.
You are also well informed
that five lakh. of Central Govt. employees of different segments of workforce
like Railway federation, Defense Federation and confederation of Central Govt.
Employees will march to Parliament on 28th Apr’2015 for immediate
settlement of ten points charter of demands at the clarion call of JCM National
Council Staff Side. Indefinite strike will occur if the demands are not settled
by the Govt.
We, the Postal Workers, being
the largest workforce after Railways require special mobilization to show our
anger, protest & determination against the Govt. of India for their
apathetic attitude.

Friends, we have traversed
across a long way. Not a single privilege of ours, which we are presently
enjoying, like Festival Advance, Merger of DA, Removal of discrimination
between Class – III & IV in respect of leave rules, Holidays, weekly off,
fixed duty hours, better pay scale, better DA, formula better increment, change
in fixation, 100% compensation for price rice, MACP –I, II, III, ( earlier
TBOP/BCR), Pro-rata wages for GDS, Office rent to GDS BPM, regularization of
GDS & casual labors, preservation of trade union rights, removal of Bonus
Ceiling and even Child Care Leave have been possible due to our ancestors’ and
our comrades’ active participation in the struggles. Thus, better lifestyle and
living standard which we achieved today, were only through struggles. So many postal workers were
dismissed, arrested and their pay were reduced to many stages down, reverted to
lower cadre and even killed in police firing.
It is at the cost of the great
sacrifices of our ancestors, we are now at the victory stand, but we can not
protect our rights, if we don’t fight.
So, Comrades & Friends
prepare for all out strike and mass mobilization for “Delhi Chalo”
on 28th Apr’2015 at 9.30 A.M. for parliament March and indefinite
Strike from 6th May’2015.

April’2015 ALSO.
