ALL INDIA POSTAL ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES’ EMPLOYEES UNION GR ‘C’ AND ERSTWHILE GR ‘D’ CONGRATULATES WORKERS AND EXHIBIT RED SALUTES TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE WORKERS AS A WHOLE FOR THEIR ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IN NATIONWIDE
STRIKE ON 2nd SEPTEMBER,2015.
As the part of the working class of India, they went on a one day
strike for the day against skyrocketing prices of essential commodities,
violation of labor laws, privatization of PSUs, demanding universal social
security cover, removal of all ceilings of payment and eligibility of bonus
etc.
In the Central Govt. employees’ front, the demands like wage
revision w.e.f. 01.01.2014, wage revision in every 5 years’ after, 100% merger
of DA, demanding filling up of vacant posts, scrapping of PFRDA Act, no outsourcing,
contractorisation and privatization, removal of arbitrary ceiling on
Compassionate appointments and demanding five promotions in our service carriers,
have given a huge momentum in the field of our Central Govt. workers’ Strike.
Not only that, we had demanded to bring the GDS employees within the ambit of the
7th CPC, was also a very important demand for which we strongly
protested on the 2nd day of September,2015.
In every sector of ours including Postal, RMS, MMS Administrative
offices and Branch offices, the strike response was overwhelming. We salute all
sections of Postal Workers and feel proud of them for their sacrifices. It is
only through their understanding and sustained struggles, we can protect and
defend the rights of ours. Further phases of struggles are striking us very
soon because of dilly-dally tactics and
apathetic attitude of the Govt. of India regarding the genuine demands of the
working class of India as a whole and the Central Govt. workers in particular.
Reports reaching to the CHQ of different unions of NFPE, are very
encouraging which prompted me to write to you.
Maintain greater form of unity at all costs and keep your Gun
powder dry for ensuing struggles. Victory, will of course, be ours. RED SALUTE
TO ONE AND ALL, COMRADES.
