Farewell to our beloved leader Com K.Ramachandram, Ex All India President and Circle Secretary, Admin Union, A.P.Circle on the occasion of his retirement from service on superannuation on 31-03-2017.

Our beloved leader Com K. Ramchandram is retiring on superannuation from Postal Service on this day of 31^st March, 2017 after an unblemished service of almost 36yrs.

Com Ramachandram entered in the Department as Gr ‘D’, at C.O. on 19-12-1981  and elected as CWC member in 1983. He was promoted to clerical level on 11-04-1986, functioned as ACS, A.P.Circle from 1987 to 2006. He was Circle Secretary for a vast stretch of years from 2007-2017.

Born on 5^th March 1957 in a family of agricultural livelihood, he raised from Gr ‘D’ to PACO, MACP-III.

He was AGS, in CHQ and ultimately elevated to the post of All India President.

Besides an unique brand of performance, his untiring and dedicated efforts for both the trade and uniting the workers in all spheres, ultimately has made him a popular leader.

His sensitive efforts to nurture nationwide awareness for the inner values of the postal workers struggle and a vivid account of the sacrifices of the martyrs as narrated by him made him very popular.

His simple and decent behaviour and his most casual look with humbleness and deep sense of sensitivity, made him great.

His deep involvement with the Admin Union for more than three decades and participation in Admin Union was of great value. His association with Com K.Adinarayan influenced him a lot with an added background of leftist lineage of his father and ultimately, he emerged as a good leader. 

This Admin Union records its full appreciation for the dedicated service of him as the AGS and the President of this organization for a good number of years inspite of his various physical constraints. 

His all time alertness regarding the day to day problems emerged in Circle and National level, will ever be remembered.

His befitting struggle and participation in all the Strikes both at Circle and National level at a stretch for many decades, even during this month of his retirement i.e. on 31-03-2017, symbolizes his strong determination and belligerent mood in all the national struggles.  

Although he is retiring from the service only in a routine manner, his valuable suggestions, powerful opinions and leadership will enlighten us with new concepts and ideas.

Let us confidently hope that he will guide us as before as an able organizer for many more days and help us to fight for just causes of the Postal Workers.

This Union expresses its warm regards and felicitations and wish him many more years of good health to fight for the working class of India.
